The Idea

I love crocheting - and I love to make the world a better place. So I thought, why not combine the two? I decided to take things (mostly wool) into my own hands, create small crochet goodies, and sell them on IJR’s World with 100% of the proceeds donated to a cause that makes the world a tiny bit better. 💖

In this first edition, I crocheted 22 small ‘doggy bags’. They all come in different shapes and sizes, are made out of recycled buttons, leftover wool and lots of love. Each of the doogy bags comes with a handmade #SexyRexy card. They are are hand-painted by me on recycled paper, and thus, all vary in shapes and sizes.

Please note: There is only one of each design, and one of each card. So don’t miss out - they get booked on a first come, first serve basis. 🙏

The Cause

Together with my wonderful neighbour Pia, who is an animal whisperer and nature lover, we will buy pet food, and feed many hungry four-legged souls in our neighbourhood of Badem in North Goa. Now that the Indian monsoon has kicked off with a cyclone (imagine four months of heavy rain), and in addition to the fact that most restaurants are closed due to lockdown, many street dogs, cats and cows go hungry as they usually depend on yummy restaurant left-overs.

4. Wait for a confirmation via email, then pay online. Feel free to donate more than the listed price if you feel like! The animals will love you for it. 💖
5. The bag will be couriered to you.
